This
course enables the programmer (or system builder) to productively build
systems from the specifications provided by the system specifier (analyst). It
aims to eliminate redundant programming and implements a more formal and
productive approach to building systems by teaching Infomet's Object
Oriented and Application Primitive/Building Block approach.
Detailed
exercises in the development of pseudo code, program structure
diagrams, visual programming, and test matricesare provided. The reusability
of code is emphasised and object oriented programming techniques and the
principles of application generator software are also taught.
